Global cryptocurrency powerhouse, Binance is expanding its reach on the continent with listings for top positions.
Binance has been actively expanding its offering on the continent since last year. Binance added the Nigerian Naira late last year and has added the South African Rand since.
At the time of writing, reports indicate that Binance is testing MPESA payments for Kenyan users on the Binance P2P platform.
The positions advertised include Business Development – South Africa, Community Manager/Digital Marketing Strategist – Africa, Business Growth Manager – Africa, and Growth Marketing Manager – Sub-Saharan Africa.
Here is a breakdown of what these positions entail:
- Business Development (South Africa) – The position entails expanding the Binance business channel in South Africa, expanding strategic partnerships, maintaining the existing ones with local partners, collecting market insights, and creating and finding channels and programs to drive potential users to grow Binance user base
- Community Manager / Digital Marketing Strategist (Africa) – The applicant will have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies to plan and execute all digital marketing while analyzing web traffic metrics to optimize customer touchpoints
- Growth Marketing Manager (Sub-Saharan Africa) – This position is under local marketing, working independently in your local location with directions from the Global Marketing Operation Team. An applicant needs to have the proven track record of successful local experience
- Business Growth Manager (Africa) – Applicant will be responsible for expanding P2P merchant and channel resources in Africa while defining local marketing plans and collecting market insights to solve customer issues
